Thank you to everyone who joined us for IACC 2026. This year’s conference was an incredible success, bringing together a global community of brand protection professionals, enforcement officials, policymakers, and IP leaders whose participation, insights, and collaboration made the event truly dynamic and memorable.
We extend our sincere thanks to our conference co-chairs, keynote speakers, session speakers and moderators, sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees for contributing to the unique energy and international spirit that define the IACC Annual Conference.
This year, we brought London to Orlando with keynote speaker Peter O'Doherty, Commissioner of the City of London Police, who addressed emerging trends and challenges in IP enforcement, as well as the City of London Police’s multi-agency cooperation with Europol and U.S. agencies through Operation In Our Sites. Commissioner O’Doherty also highlighted the longstanding partnership between the City of London Police’s Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit (PIPCU) and the IACC through the IACC RogueBlock initiative.
Terri Tobin, retired Chief of Interagency Operations with the New York City Police Department, delivered a powerful keynote reflecting on her experiences as a First Responder and honoring the sacrifice, resilience, and leadership demonstrated by the NYPD and fellow First Responders during 9/11. Ms. Tobin, who frequently speaks about New York City’s response to the attacks, had also recently met with King Charles III and Queen Camilla at the 9/11 Memorial prior to joining the IACC Annual Conference.
The conference also featured keynote remarks from Gregory Kehoe, U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida, who underscored the significant threats criminal organizations pose to public health and safety through the trafficking of counterfeit pharmaceuticals and consumer products.
Ivan Arvelo, Director of the National IPR Coordination Center, spoke of the IPR Center's commitment to continuing to work with the rights-holder community and highlighted his team who participated in various sessions throughout the conference.

Expanded in response to strong attendee interest, the forum brought together industry leaders, enforcement professionals, government representatives, and regional partners for interactive discussions on the key challenges and emerging trends impacting the region.
The session encouraged active audience participation and valuable cross-sector exchange, fostering collaboration and the sharing of practical insights. The forum concluded with impactful real-world case studies showcasing successful enforcement actions and cooperative efforts between rights holders, government authorities, and enforcement agencies that reinforced the importance of partnership in advancing effective brand protection throughout Latin America.
IACC MAC Convenes Third Meeting Ahead of Annual Conference
The IACC Marketplace Advisory Council (MAC) convened its third meeting ahead of the Annual Conference, bringing together more than 70 representatives from participating brands, ecommerce platforms, payment networks, and social media companies. During the meeting, participants further advanced draft best practices and began exploring operational programs that could emerge from those initiatives.
During the IACC conference, MAC participants engaged in a fireside chat called, “Leaders in Conversation: Driving Collective Action Against Counterfeiting”, where they shared experiences, insights, and information about their MAC collaborative efforts.
Launched at the IACC’s 2025 Annual Conference, MAC brings together a uniquely influential coalition of companies, including leading marketplaces and social media platforms such as Meta Platforms, Mercado Libre, Amazon, DHgate, eBay, Walmart, Shopee, Alibaba Group, TikTok, and Temu. Joining them are global payment network providers American Express, Mastercard, PayPal, and Visa, whose participation is critical to disrupting the financial infrastructure that supports counterfeit operations. MAC also includes more than 30 of the world’s leading brands and industry associations.
